POCKET DIAPERS: Machine wash diaper on hot setting and cold rinse before use. Dry on medium heat in the dryer to tighten up seams for premium leak protection! Be sure to wait until the diaper has cooled before stuffing to prevent damaging the waterproof layer around the seams. When diaper is soiled, knock solids into the toilet and store in a dry pail. On wash day, do a cold rinse, then a hot wash with a quarter to half the recommended amount of detergent, then cold rinse again. If you like to hang dry your diaper you can fluff your diapers in the dryer on medium heat for a few minutes to refresh the waterproof layer around the seams. This works with most diapers, and is a good way to keep your diapers super leak proof! NATURAL FIBERS (FITTEDS AND INSERTS): Wash the item a few times on hot to remove any natural oils in the materials. Once washed several times, they will absorb better. Expect to see some shrinkage. The shrinkage may vary slightly, depending on the fabric. Wool: Lanolizing your wool will make it softer and water resistant. It is recommended that each wool cover be washed and lanolized prior to use for optimal performance. After the initial lanolizing, the covers will only need to be lanolized occasionally. How to care for your wool: After your baby wears his/her wool cover you will not need to wash immediately if it becomes damp. The natural oil in wool keeps the covers water resistant and cleans them naturally. Simply air dry and re-use. Should they get soiled, they will need to be hand-washed in tepid water using a mild wool wash such as J.O.Y. Wool wash Bars or any of your other favorite wool wash liquids. Gently rub the bar over your cover, and allow the wool cover to soak for 15 minutes. Then gently squeeze out most of the moisture. Do not wring or twist the wool cover. To remove excess water roll the wool cover in-between two dry, clean towels and then lay the wool cover flat to dry. To occasionally lanolize your wool soaker: Add ¼ tsp of lanolin to 1 cup of water and melt it in the microwave. Combine the melted lanoline with a bit of wool wash (to emulsify the lanolin) LIMITED WARRANTY AND RETURNS: RETURNS or EXCHANGES are accepted on unwashed and unused items within 30 days of receipt, less shipping charges. All washed or used Preston's Pants diapers have a 60 day warranty on the sewing quality (not the embroidery) and the snaps. This warranty will repair or replace your diaper if necessary. This includes broken snaps, non-functional snaps, seam tears, and torn or bad elastic. This does not cover puncture holes, tears, or pulls in the fabric from wearing, washing, or misuse. I will repair or replace your diaper if it falls within these guidelines. If replacement is necessary you will get the same item or an item of equal construction and value. IF YOU FIND YOUR ITEM IS DEFECTIVE IN ANY WAY UPON RECEIVING IT, PLEASE DO NOT WASH IT. CONTACT ME FOR ARRANGEMENTS TO RETURN YOUR ITEM.
