The weight value on this chart is approximate, and should not be used to determine your child's size. Please check your child's measurements to get a proper fit.
Please note: Breathable fleece diapers (diapers without a waterproof PUL layer) may run a bit larger, due to the stretch in the fleece.

Here is the scoop on "Sizing Your Child"
How to measure your child...
Waist measurement = Measure 1" below the belly button. Wrap the tape measure around the belly (snug but not too tight!) to make a complete circle.
Legs = Measure as close to the groin area as possible, where the crease is, between the legs and the groin. DO NOT measure the fatest part of the thigh...mid thigh region.
Rise = With a diaper on the baby, measure from 1 " below the belly button, down through the crotch area, and up the top of the bum, where the top of the diaper should be on the back of the waist.
NOTE **The Skinny Large** (The skinny waisted chunky thighed diaper) This size is wonderful if your child has bigger thighs, and a normal sized or trim waist. Notice the smallest settings for thigh to waist ratio are 9" thigh and 14" waist. It is NOT a skinny version of the large. It has a very similar fit in the waist as a medium long, but larger leg openings. So, I guess it could be called a Chunky Thighed Medium Long!! Your child (on the smallest snap settings) would need to have close to these measurements... waist would be 14-15" and legs would be 9-10". If your childs legs are on the smallest measurements, and waist is on the larger scale, the diaper will not fit your baby.
With all sizes....
Keep in mind that waist measurements and leg measurements are adjusted by the upper snaps and lower snaps. There are four snap settings. This will allow you to adjust the legs tighter (in comparison to the waist) by one snap, or loser by one snap, and visa versa. You will not be able to obtain the smallest setting on legs and the largest setting on waist at the same time.
